Do we move across state lines? Yes, we have our intrastate and interstate authority, meaning we can move across state lines and through out the state of Tennessee.

Are we licensed and insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed and insured. We carry liability insurance and cargo insurance to cover your belongings while in transit.

Are our operators/movers contract labor or actual employees? The team at Cooper moving consists of trained full time employees. We carry Workman's Compensations Insurance on all our employees to insure there is no liability on our customers.

Do we charge for canceling a move?
No, we do not charge our customers if they have to reschedule or cancel a move. You are better off scheduling the move even if you think you may have to cancel. If you wait until the last minute, we may not be able to schedule your move, especially during warm weather months.

How do we charge?
For local moves, we charge by the hour and have an initial service fee. We do have a two hour minimum. Our hourly charges are based on the size of the crew required for the move. We start our time when we arrive at the current location and end it at the new location.  If you are relocating from the Memphis area, we recommend that you let us give you an on-site estimate at no charge to you.
